One of the few restaurants which managed to impress on its first few nights of operating is Il Gattopardo. Created by the makers of Zuma and Amazonico, the stylish Mayfair restaurant on Albermarle Street is an ode to retro-Italy – playing classic throwbacks in three different rooms – the main dining room, the ‘Terrazza’, resembling a winter garden, and a handful of hidden spaces – ideal for intimate get-togethers. To be perfectly honest, the entire menu is to die for – however, those particularly standing out include the ‘Spigola’, the ‘Arancini’, and the ‘Gamberi’ to share for the starters.
